Welcome to the Scarlet Lawrence Akins Foundation’s website.  We are excited that you have visited and hope you visit often.  This site was created to share the mission of promoting education about skin cancer or Melanoma.

We would like to invite everyone to  make plans to attend the 2009 Pale is the New Tan® 5K (PINT 5K).  This years race will be Friday, August 7th (7:00 PM) at the Ridgeway Loop in Memphis, TN.
